The younger brother of Japanese actress and singer Yasuko Matsuyuki, 40, has been arrested in Tokyo over the assault of a taxi driver.

According to police, Matsuyuki's 34-year-old brother Yohei is accused of kicking a taxi driver, a man in his 50s, following an altercation in Shibuya on Oct 11, TBS reported Wednesday. The driver reportedly sustained a broken pelvis in the attack. Matsuyuki is also accused of kicking and damaging a passing car that had stopped during the incident.

Police say Matsuyuki is to be charged with assault and property damage. He has so far denied any wrongdoing.

Dont bow, police does nothing to those rude and ignorant taxi driver so until they do and start prevent them from standing everywhere, blocking every street and break all traffic laws citizens will have to take matters in own hands.

This is not a man I would like to have dealings with in the least. I hope he isn't in a relationship, or I would fear for his partner.

What's with all these attacks on cab drivers recently? Leave the poor guys (gals) alone.

Actually it was Yohei Matsuyuki that is accused of kicking a taxi driver. It just happens to be the younger brother of the actress/singer. Why is the article written as though becuase of the bro-sis relationship, this alleged crime had taken place. She is not his baby-sitter and I doubt that she actually knew where he was at that given time. Now is she required to do an apology infront of TV camera's for something stupid that her brother did?

Thedevil, indeed! Minomonta hasn't been on his morning program in nearly a month because of his son's behaviour. I do not get why the family needs to take responsibility for an adult family member's issues.

He kicked an old fella and broke his pelvis? Seriously? What a man! And, we can expect the usual, "I was drunk and don't remember" excuse. I hope this goon is made to pay full compensation to the driver. A broken pelvis at that age is a seriously debilitating injury and will take months to heal.

These fools and their twisted sense on self importance makes me sick.

Letsberealistic, I didn't know he was married. Thanks for the info. I hope he doesn't treat his family like that.

What is this - "Beat Down Your Local Cabbie Month"?

He's not using the excuse: '' I was drunk and i don't remember anything'' , then open the wallet to apologize?

I have to add, I have met my share of surly, rude taxi drivers. They think they own the road often as not are spoiling for a fight as well.

50 is young enough to be hot headed and able to fight.

I'm not going to pick sides just based on this.

This guy is such a freaking coward. He attacks a much older man who probably has no idea how to defend himself . Let's see how tough he would be with someone who'd smash him back.
