Police said Sunday they are looking for two men who stabbed a 19-year-old youth outside his home in Matsudo, Chiba prefecture.
According to police, they received a call at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday from a woman reporting that her son had been stabbed, TV Asahi reported. The victim suffered stab wounds to his stomach but his condition is not life-threatening, police said.
The victim, who had gone out around 11:30 p.m., was quoted by police as saying that he did not know the two men and that they just started yelling at him. The two assailants are described as being in their early 20s. They fled on scooters after the attack.
