Bless his heart for his great work with UNICEF, as well as the other stuff. A good, and good-humoured man.

RIP, Sir Moore. I actually preferred him to Connery as Bond, a long time ago, but while I appreciate the latter a little more these days as the character, I still think I liked Moore better. And yes, he was a good man besides.

Connery was Bond, but as a child, I grew up watching Sir Moore, a lot of great memories "Live and let die" Moonraker and so many Moore and even loved "The Saint" the good old days, the classics, a great actor, and a great man, classy all the way.

RIP

Saw an episode of Car SOS recently where the team were tarting up a Volvo P1800 for someone who was no longer physically capable of carrying out the work. The finished car was a stunner; for the cherry on the cake they got Roger Moore to sign the the back of the red leather driver's seat in large black lettering. He was happy to oblige and the owner was over the moon. Fond memories indeed.

Mr. Moore was certainly enjoyable to watch in films. Definitely a good 007.

On another matter, wouldn't he be referred to and addressed as "Sir Robert"?

Sir Moore was the Bond I grew up with so have always preferred him to Sir Connery, even had a poster of Moore on my bedroom wall as a kid. RIP Sir Moore.

Me too, not the poster bit, but I grew up with him as Bond. I don't care that the movies weren't faithful to the novels, I just enjoyed the campiness and humour of his Bond movies. His death comes so soon after the death of that redneck sheriff.
