I don't understand a single word of any language spoken in India but I think that “Pathaan" would be far more original, interesting and entertaining than that Cliche City Fest "Avatar 2" any day. At least “Pathaan" probably isn't as predictable as that piece of garbage. At the very least there would be some real lovely actresses I could watch regardless of language ; )

"Puss In Boots" might be an interesting cartoon to see as well, every once in a blue moon, a good children's film worth watching gets released and it's worth the time and dough.

But you couldn't pay me to see "Avatar 2". The first one was a load of unoriginal rip-off doo-doo. It sucked.

I haven't seen Avatar 2, but I've considered going to see it in the theater, even though I didn't think the first one was that great. I'd see it for the same reason I saw the first one - for the visual effects in 3D. I'm not particularly interested in the story.

Well, 'Avatar' is a Sanskrit/Hindi word so if you understand the meaning of that word you already know more than you think. There are a few other Hindi words that have found common usage in English also.

the Hindi language blockbuster “Pathaan” that broke into the top five

I don't like Bollywood movies and will give this one a pass as well, but for those unacquainted with Indian politics, Bollywood has undergone a severe partisan divide in recent years with a few movies and movie stars coming out in unabashed support of the right wing and others becoming a favourite target of right wing trolls.

Pathaan is in the latter category, and SRK and the other 'Khans' of Bollywood have had to face right wing abuse and propaganda which seeks to make sure their movies fail. So it's good to see the Hindutva brigade facing the embarrassment of seeing Pathaan do well for a change.

Nothing original comes out from that criminal gangster dominated bollywood, and this movie just glorifies that terrorist organization ISI, not sure why would anyone want to watch anything coming from that...
