I don’t think he spoke one word in this film, so maybe he heard you. Lol

Disney and JJAbrams greatly failed with their bait-&-switch marketing & teasing at reuniting classic casts in their alternate-universe trilogy SpaceBattles: The Farce Awakens through The Rise of Palapatine.

Perhaps will be pleased @theFu 8:28am with Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) (SPOILERS!) as it ties together the other stories, cast and characters effectively and doesn’t ruin or rewrite character arcs from the other respective stories already played out.

I was pleased @theFu 8:28am Denis Villeneuve’s Dune (2021) did a ‘slow burn’ and left Dune fans wanting more. (His sequel was announced and come 2023)
Still enjoy David Lynch’s Dune (1984) style & cast for what it was at the time but the studio wanted the immense epic condensed into one film.

Dune was an introduction only not a full story. It ended about 30% into the story. I felt cheated. Perhaps all the time on Caladan wasted more time than needed?
I was a huge Spiderman fan as a kid and the first 3 motion pictures (which were retelling of the cartoons), until they started redoing the same exact story every 20 yrs over and over and over, just with new actors. Meh. The owners need to learn how to tell different stories. You know, something original.
No Time To Die was entertaining, but I can't remember the story. Only saw it about a month ago.
I don't watch movies based on awards like Oscars. Most of the winners are good, entertaining, stories, but a few were just so far from my taste that I don't care anymore.

Agree, “unique”. Nicholas Cage is now, most times, completely over-the-top with the mercurial characters he’s been playing. Watch most just to see the level of craziness he’ll inject or to see those brief, periodic moments when, his previously Oscar-nominated talent shines through.

I sure hope Nicholas Cage’s Willy's Wonderland 2021 flick gets nominated. Watched it last night. From Valley Girl to Willy's Wonderland, Cage has always been a funny and and unique actor.
