Anyone who has watched Game of Thrones since season 4 will realize they can't write stories, can't write dialogue and can't do character or narrative development. They can do empty Hollywood spectacle though, which is probably why Disney have given them this gig. If I was a Stars Wars fan I'd be most unhappy with this news.

Walt Disney Co CEO Bob Iger said that "Game of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are working on the new "Star Wars" film expected in theaters in December 2022.

Bad decision, but it's not like they can make it any worse. ... can they??

We've been unhappy since Ep. 7 came out, for the most part. In fact, I've tuned out of SJW Wars entirely.

Just further bad news for Star Wars.

The petition to have Game of Thrones season 8 rewritten is hardly a glowing endorsement for these guys.

I blame JJ Abrams and his damn 'Mystery boxes' for the downfall of SF/Fantasy writing.
