Whoever nominated Game of Thrones has mental problems.

Looking fwd to seeing the final season of GoT. I heard it uspet a few "fans", which is always good news for me.

Veep has been consistently brilliant from the word go. Again, have yet to see the final season but I expect the usual mix of buffoonery, backstabbing and brilliance from team Meyer!

Veep is gold!

Veep may be a decent show, but it doesn't hold a candle to Game of Thrones in terms of quality (definitely wins in dialogue), special effects, action, etc.

Whoever nominated Game of Thrones has mental problems.

It was nominated by people who know the industry, know how hard everyone worked on it, and know that it destroyed every other show in almost every category.

For some categories, but not writing!!

I thoroughly enjoyed GoT.

And Veep is (was) awesome. JLD is the queen of comedy.

Bugle Boy of COmpany B: "For some categories, but not writing!!"

Yes and no. Dialogue, Veep definitely dominates over GoT, which was often very cringe-worthy, especially in the later seasons. But writing includes all aspects of script and story-boarding, so, in the case of the latter, not even close -- GoT wins hands down.
