No matter how hard some Russians try to oppose Putin and the war, they like all other Russians will be discriminated and hated by the western world! These innocent Russians will face constant frowning upon with the mere sight of being Russians! Some who can’t publicly oppose Putin because of the fear of their life as well as the life of their families will be banned from international sports and even traveling in the days ahead e.g footballers and tennis players who are all banned despite not supporting the war at all! Makes one wonder if this in turn will push Russians to the extreme since they are being punished regardless!

And the same goes for the Svetlanas. They're a punk band popular in Russia. while on tour in Europe they were told not to return to Russia upon risking arrest on arrival. They don't like Putin either. I saw and met them a few years ago at a club. They are fierce speedy players and their singer Olga can truly sneer her angst in her lyrics. Offstage, however she's really a sweetheart and the others (all men) are pretty cool too.

I understand the need to make the Russian people more aware of the war, and the desire for vengeance, but doing this would probably only make the Russian forces in Ukraine even more savage. And that would lead to more Ukranian civilians being killed.

Fair point, strategic targets are fair game. I thought you might have been suggesting that Ukraine be as indiscriminate in its destruction as the Russians have.
