'Power Rangers' star Jason David Frank dies at 49

This must be a more, umm, adult version of the show I watched as a kid.

"Mighty Morphine Power Rangers," about five teenagers deputized to save Earth from the evil,

My kid brothers idolized him as a martial artist when they were young.

Killed himself.

Hmm, that show was genius. They actually spent almost everything on marketing and merchandise and almost nothing on production. Almost all the “action” scenes were spliced from the Japanese originals. All the action/ outdoor scenes are clearly Japan. Only noticed when my son started watching it. Gave me a laugh.

Some sources say it was suicide..

Very unfortunate when someone who had the world at their feet dies like that.

Keith Flint was 49 when he commited suicide after his wife left him too. RIP

Depression is a very real illness that often gets overlooked, especially with men. Just because we look fine and put on that smile, doesn't mean we're happy. RIP.
