Interesting facts:
1) The movie producers originally wanted Jackie Chan to play Quan's role.
2) When Quan was approached to do this movie, he turned to one of his childhood friend Jeffrey Bertan Cohen (aka Chunk) from the movie the Goonies. Cohen helped Quan negotiate his contract.
3) Quan and Yeoh will star in an upcoming TV show together.
4) Bassett (Supporting Actress) = "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" = left out of the article by JT
5) Nothing for Tom Cruz or any other "Top Gun" actor/actress = (LOL!)
It seems like the Goonies stayed together to the very end!
Good work, Data and Chunk!

What did you dislike about ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once?”
Japantime
These days most people prefer Netflix to movies. Since COVID most movie cinemas have closed down.

I hope the most woke films win the awards.
I don’t know what they are nor have no intention of watching them, but the meltdowns on the right have become very entertaining in recent years.
Watching the ‘go woke, go broke’ idea sink further down the pan has been interesting.
Strangerland
I'll get more enjoyment from that than the movies themselves.

The Irish language movie the quiet girl is a nice one.

Great stuff.
Hope these movies are woke.

Last year was a good year for cinema. The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once were excellent and I hope they win big at the Oscars.

This movie devastated me in the best way possible. It was gorgeous and beautifully shot.

I do not fully understand the decision to have governments decide what to nominate as Best Foreign Language films. Some really good films have been overlooked, that way. I do not know how the choices should be made, just that something better needs to be done.

I hope the most woke films win the awards.
Me too.
I don’t know what they are nor have no intention of watching them, but the meltdowns on the right have become very entertaining in recent years.
What meltdowns? I see concern from fans of good cinema but fewer and fewer of them actually give any credibility to what these now ridiculous “awards” have become (you too, I take it). The “meltdowns on the right” you keep mentioning are a figment of your imagination. Your wishful thinking.
