Not gonna lie, Chinese would have done the same, what i don't understand is why they did not leave this out of the film.

If someone says something that the Chinese dictator does not like, they get in big trouble, but if a Chinese film has a few seconds of material in it that are offensive to other nations, the Chinese dictator refuses to delete the scene so that the film can run in those countries. How should one describe this behavior? Hypocritical? A case of wanting to have one's cake, and eat it as well?

This is simply a lie of omission. All the above governments' claims overlap with each other.
Another lie of omission. Vietnam's claims are nearly as large as China's.
Malaysia and Vietnam are simply throwing away a teachable moment in their petulance. All the maps in their countries show their claims. The film is set in China...thus...the map shows what a map would look like in China. That one map in this film is not going to convince the people that their own countries maps are wrong. So what do those paranoid censors fear?
On the other hand I would probably respect them more if they simply banned Disney everything. Much better grounds for that.

So Hollywood prioritizes China over China's neighbours. I hope they come to regret this.

Given China would make the same demands and do the same thing if the situation was reversed, I say good on Vietnam and Malaysia for not budging.
