I never expected to see JT cover the death of an actor who wouldn't have been well known outside the UK. I was never a fan of soap operas but even I knew the character of Mike Baldwin and couldn't escape the gossip on the school playground about that infamous affair with Deidre. RIP.

He was a very good actor, he was in loads of British films before he went into Corrie, usually playing the villain or handsome lead.
