Trailer for The Mandalorian is top drawer, I must say. Getting a real Leone/Peckinpah vibe from it.

I hope the next star wars movie is good. But excited for all of the other Disney creations that are coming

Some possible ways Disney’s Sequel III, a.k.a. Episode IX, can fail...

If 50% or more of the film is Abrams/Johnson characters...FAIL.

If Luke does not return alive...FAIL.

If Jay Skywalker rather than Luke Skywalker appears...FAIL.

If books/comics are needed again to explain parts of the plot...FAIL.

If no Han/Leia funeral...FAIL.

If Gary or Mary Sue(s) appear...FAIL.

If Chewbacca and/or Leia are not clearly the owner(s) of the Falcon...FAIL.

If there is Reysplaining to Luke or Chewbacca again...FAIL.

If there are subplots that go nowhere...FAIL.

If the film does not complete the Skywalker Saga...EPIC FAIL.

If the internet had existed in its present form, circa 1980, The Empire Strikes Back would have "failed".

Strong female character, visible ethnic character, freedom fighters standing up to space fascists. Fail, fail, fail.

Star Wars (1977) had a strong female character, and there's nothing wrong with having different races in Star Wars. God, your post is pure fail.

Except for one big difference between Empire and The Last Jedi. Empire Strikes Back actually had a good script.

As if people whining on the Internet about a movie is actually dependent upon the quality of the movie.
