"Violence in films should be visceral and disturbing”

Actually, it just inures the public to more extreme violence.

Just what we need, an “ultra -violent” film that leaves viewers gasping in shock.

Cronenberg admitted: "I thought we would be getting more hate."

Hoped, more likely. “Hate” makes for better publicity and sucks in the empty-heads to defend it because it “winds up the movie snobs.”

"If you look at Russian interference in the U.S. elections"

Honestly, what did Russia do that the US hasn't done in some foreign country's elections? Heck, the US invades other countries and installs dictators or whoever they please. I always get a good chuckle when they try to scare people about this Russia hoax.

It is NOT a hoax. I have a Computer Science degree and I saw the cyberhacking with my own two eyes on that awful night. And cyberhacking is usually attempted for stealing industry secrets and esp. wars. The Libyan war of 1985 -86 was an attempt at cyberwar but the technology wasn't fully developed yet. In 1999 during the Kosovo war it was and it was very effective against Serbia.

Now Russia loves to hack anybody for anything, and Trump sold America out to them. He's a traitor.

In the 80s this was fortold by the sci-fy novel genre called 'cyberpunk'. Cyberpunk and cyberwar is here.

And I have no computer science degree and in all those decades have never been computer-hacked on my private computers or the companies’ and institutions’ ones I ever worked with. It depends on IT understanding, not the number or well-sounding degrees. lol
