South Korean rapper Psy is a one hit wonder, here today, gone tomorrow.

Here 20 years ago, still here. His latest album charted very well.
Not my cup of tea but he’s very very popular and very very rich. Fair play to him.

Psy’s the best and he's managing Jessi, who's also the freaking best rapper. I really hope I can see them both live in the near future.
Garthgoyle
No way. He's still singing, making good music and managing other artists. He just released a new video a few weeks ago.
And unlike all those k-pop idols who lip-sing "live" he actually sings live.

Ok, I stand corrected. I still find the man irritating, but at least he made a successful career from jumping up and down.

Awful song

He's really only a one-hit-wonder when you take into account how massive that hit was compared to what followed, and as was stated above, his latest album did well, though you'd never really know it.
Hard to believe it's been 10 years, and it's funny how angry the undeniable world-wide success makes people so angry (especially J-pop fans). It was amazing how he got everyone doing that silly dance, from football marching bands, to Obama, and then some, and he really did help make K-pop go pretty mainstream in the US.
Have only heard two other songs of his, and don't like either, but I am glad that he can look back and smile and feel relief from some of the pressure. If only we all could do that.

Never liked that song.
It was terrible.

Yes, Psy was the writer/composer/lyricist and one of the producers. Not sure why the attitude towards the guy. Surely he wouldn't come here to comment on your job/career and if you do what you do or someone else does it for you. You sound a bit hostile.

He's had more than one hit, but I don't expect you to know that being how open minded and unopinionated you are.
