Forty lucky fans, chosen by lottery from about 3,000 applicants, will travel aboard a chartered aircraft with Tom Cruise on Thursday. Cruise, who is in Japan to promote his new movie "Valkyrie," will attend the Japan premiere in Tokyo on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, the Sky Cruise flight will leave Haneda for Osaka. During the flight, Cruise, 46, his wife Katie Holmes, and daughter Suri, will interact with fans and pose for photos.
During his last visit to Japan in 2006 to promote "Mission: Impossible - III," Cruise joined 250 fans on a specially chartered bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka.
Cruise and his family arrived at Narita on Sunday night and were flown into Tokyo aboard a helicopter with the name of "Valkyrie" painted on it.© Japan Today
