Rock singer Daigo, 37, and actress Keiko Kitagawa, 29, who announced their marriage on Jan 11, will hold a wedding reception at a Tokyo hotel on April 29 with 600 guests invited from the entertainment, sports, business and political worlds.
Daigo, who is the lead singer for Breakerz, said his group will also perform at the wedding reception, Sankei Sports reported Thursday.
When they announced their wedding in January, Daigo said they wanted to have a reception but the couple's music and film commitments were making it difficult.
Daigo, who is the grandson of former Prime Minister Noboru Takeshita, said he proposed to Kitagawa last August right after he finished taking part in NTV’s “24-Hour Television 38” 100-kilometer charity marathon.
Their relationship began when they started filming a TV show in 2014. They had first met in 2011 when they both appeared in the TV drama “LADY - Last Crime Profiling.”

I wonder if there will be any normal human beings amongst the 600?
I guess the answer to that question is no then..

It will probably be live on TV and I won't care because I'll be at the Hanshin game that night.

I don't have a TV, so I'll pass too. Plus, I have to wash my hair that night.

Oh!! So, I'll be missing this great event! I've got a drinking party with my colleagues; I can miss that for anything

The chances are very high that the wedding reception will be broadcast live on 日テレ or Nippon TV. Yes, I mean, everyone is now talking about it over the Internet. But yet, I don't want to bother watching it live. You can watch it later as other broadcasters will anyhow cover it.

. . . I don't care if they're famous celebs n' all. I've been to a couple Japanese weddings before. I'd rather watch wet paint dry.
No DJ, No Dancing, No mingling and wayy too formal. The french food is okay, but the speeches are ridiculous (everyone laughing, when what's being said isn't funny at all).
Worst of all, the fake chapel. The fake priest and that fake"cross." Japanese aren't even Christian. I dont get it!

Are you kidding! I had people coming by my table every five minutes filling my beer glass. I got toasted - it was a hell of a time.

Reinforcing the pecking order. What compelling viewing!
