Eight Korean performing groups from talent agency JYP Entertaniment, including prominent pop idol group 2PM, will perform in Japan as part of the “JYP Nation in Japan 2011” event to be held Aug 17-18. The event will be held at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture, JYP said in a press release.
Singer and spokesman for the JYP Army, Park Jin-Young, is producing the event. “This is the first time I will meet our Japanese fans,” he said in a statement. “We’ll give them a great show!”
The chorus group 2AM, once affiliated with 2PM, will perform a collaboration with the idol group -- a rarity that even Korean fans are sure to covet. Other artists include Miss A, JOO, Lim Jeong Hee, San E and others. 2PM will also perform as special guests at the Nikkan Sports Jingu Fireworks Festival on Aug 6 to promote their new album, “I’m Your Man.” Tickets for the “JYP Nation in Japan 2011” event are now on sale.

Hopefully the Otaku dudes do not buy out all the tickets. Sounds like a great concert for HS kids.

Me 2 love 2PM. They should tour all of Japan. I wonder who the others are that are performing at that concert.
