I mostly know Ronnie from The Last Waltz but his influence of some of the members of The Band was enormous.

My parents lived in Toronto in the 1960s and used to go and see Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks. I think the venue is now the Hard Rock Cafe there. They were very fond memories for my parents, my dad in particular, so many thanks Ronnie and RIP.
