Unfair? Because somebody made a joke about the crybaby? Boo hoo.

"Thank you, President Trump. Isn't it past your jail time?"

Nice one.

There have been some great quotes surrounding Trump. You can argue the jokes write themselves but maybe that’s uncharitable.

The best one I read was a description of him as what would happen if a YouTube comments section came to life.

Trump is just a jealous crybaby.

Trump is a very strange, sad man.

Nothing these people say will change anything.

Cant wait for this circus to end.

disjointed, boring and very unfair

Trump projecting.

You’ll have to forgive Don.

All the cool kids In Hollywood rejected him for the talentless, awkward, me-too movement inspiring jerk he really is.

And that dings his tissue-thin skin and fragile ego.

Excellent joke by Jimmy Kimmel. Anything that pees Trump and his crazies off works for me! Hopefully, his jail time is coming up soon.

-8 ( +16 / -24 )

Only 1/4 of us age 55+ are interested in oscars.

Trump is such a whining little crybaby.

How anyone could look at this fragile-feeling, thin-skinned rapist with half a billion in felony charges, with 91 further felonies to come, and mistake him for the potential Leader of the Free World bewilders me.

Ot’s a very sad and childish when you can’t accept a joke about someone you like. Throwing your rattle out the pram is so unattractive.

A good joke or line is a good joke or line.

I remember someone quipped “lactose on intolerant’ when someone threw a milkshake at rightwing UK politician/celebrity Nigel Farage. You have to say that’s sharp even if you like Farage.

Whatever you think of Reagan as a president, when he was questioned about his age, you have to say this is very good:

"I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience,"

Let’s be adults, eh?

Sulking is very unattractive.

Trump stated he was very displeased because they didn't nominate him, his wife Mercedes, his daughter Lexus, or his son Bentley...for "The Big Lie" in the fantasy category

He could be up for a Nobel Prize in Physics for his groundbreaking discoveries regarding how magnets work in different environments.

Trump's just upset that Sound of Freedom didn't win for most outlandish fiction.

0 ( +11 / -11 )

I can forgive Trump and his weird supporters for most of their ignorant idiocy.

What I can't forgive anyone for is a lack of wit or humour.

6 ( +15 / -9 )

Can't stand the man, but like a broken clock is wright at least twice a day.

I have to admit the Oscars are exactly those things plus, politically motivated, etc...

It isn't the best anything that wins it is the best "approve" ones that win, the ones with the right quota of XYZ, the right political Hollywood political message, and the right politically aligned actors.

Time to retire the "award".

Y'all are whining about Trump not taking a joke? Jimmy Kimmel threatened a lawsuit a few months ago and whined on air when a joke was used on him. Any comedian that either apologizes for a joke or threatens lawsuit if a joke is used on them loses all credibility as a comedian.

How much longer can this “Academy Award” farce survive?

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

It will continue for as long as the Academy members want, even without a TV audience.

I doubt you'll be able to provide more details of this as it would no doubt reveal that you are talking bollocks.

Don't feel left out, you can organise your own 'TRUTH' awards ceremony. Rudy can book you a room at Four Seasons for it.

Stop giving this clown airtime, who cares what Trump thinks.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Funny how all the pro-Academy post are getting so many down votes but there are precious few posts in favor of trump.

Its almost as if there is manipulation at work….

Pretty big news in the country that doesn't use the word "bollocks" in their everyday vocabulary.

Trump fully understands most Americans can't stand Hollywood and their garbage values. He's seeking to draw attention to the Oscars and Hollywood because just like illegals or high prices, most agree with him.

This is about Kimmel threatening to sue someone who accused of him of having close links with man who ran a sex trafficking network and used child prostitutes.

Where is the 'joke' bit in this, or is it actually just bollocks as I correctly judged it to be?

The cinemas are full every night. Millions are streaming Hollywood productions every night.

Trump fully understands most Americans can't stand Hollywood and their garbage values.

Funny how a lot of Americans seem to be okay with spending their money to see Hollywood films then, isn't it.

Awards ceremonies are the epitome, the embodiment of vanities overwhelming need to wallow in the hollow shallowness of self-praise/approval.

Ricky Gervais brutal relentless merciless mockery of the film industry refusal inability to display or embrace subtilty, to be gracious yet humble without having to resort to fakery, arrogance, pride and smuggery

and that lawsuit will be thrown out fast as Kimmel has slandered the said individual multiple times as well as countless others. Rodgers has the same right as Kimmel does on a talk show.

So many movie theater chains going bankrupt and closing. Business becoming far more tech centric, asset light. Great time for content and acting talent that increasingly opts out of Hollywood for Amazon or Netflix, thus not great for legacy studios.

Trump knows, traditional Hollywood like traditional auto, death by 1000 cuts as the new players take share daily.

There is no lawsuit to throw out. But Rodgers quickly backtracked and saved his own dumb ass.

And the original comment was that Kimmel was threatening a lawsuit because of a 'joke'.

In your witless MAGA world accusing someone of being an accomplice to Epstein is about as funny as it gets I suppose. Hence my original comment that MAGA is devoid of wit and humour.

I appreciate you proving my point several times.

You already lost calling the original poster "bollocks" for stating that Kimmel threatened a lawsuit. Whatever name calling, deflection or runaround you want to give to help you cope is on you.

Well said, any wonder most Americans so turned off? Hence Trump's baiting and name calling, strictly politics.

So many major countries like China and India keeping Hollywood on a very short leash, while busy promoting their domestic players, another sure sign world's busy with de-dollarization, full speed ahead. Trump knows, world turned the page on US entertainment pollution!

You already lost calling the original poster "bollocks" for stating that Kimmel threatened a lawsuit.

Which he stated was because of a ‘joke’, as opposed to implying that Kimmel was part of Epstein’s sex trafficking and child prostitution activities.

How convenient of you to forget that part.

Trump is just sore because he didn’t get an Oscar for Best Actor.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

oh boy,

so many laughs here!

At least as many laughs as there are Trump supporters voting in a group of 20 to 24 against anyone making a response to Trump's hysterical attack on Kimmel.

Thanks Trump supporters for giving me so much to laugh at!
