Maybe so, but will she remember as a titan for all time? Will Beyonce be remember 30 years from now? Will she inspire other artists? Inspiration is a major factor in the long run.

And yes there are boring and chumpy acts that never go away as well.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but that’s the beauty of music, movies, art, etc. Each and every person has their own feelings and it’s really pretty irrelevant as to what you like or don’t like with regards to that. My kids like her, so for these kids I guess the woman is good, but I personally like musicians and not artists so much.

Meanwhile, you have 'sleeper hit' albums that reach platinum and gold (Ramones, Roxy Music) and then those artists get great critical respect and fandom greater than before, over time. RUSH got trash-canned all the time by the critics, supposedly they had only one Top 40 hit but now everybody has 'suddenly become' a RUSH fan.

And then certain bands get hyped up as whatever. Asia was promoted to be the 'Band of the 80s'. Where are they now? These 'American Idols'? Flashes in the pan.

In the era of mediocre music and desperate hunger for number 1's hence so called artists make controversial songs/videos just to cause unnecessary conversations,this woman stands out. It's undeniable the effort,art and vision she puts out.

It makes the rest look like they're not even trying.

People get robbed just like her missing out on Album of the year but there are some excellent artists who get the recognition for great work...Beyoncé is one of those!!!!

Sorry folks, but I never really got in Bey. Even in Destiny's Child they had to rip off a Stevie Nicks riff and their music just wasn't that good. I was often told that if I can't say something nice, so here is something nice to say about Beyonce:
