Henry Winkler was the breakout TV star of the 70’s, a great counterbalance to wholesome Ron Howard on ABC TV’s Happy Days. Although Winkler’s not in it and Howard is a small part, you can see where Garry Marshall got his interest in the 50’s-60’s from George Lucas’ American Graffiti (1973).

Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Henry Winkler is cool, I've always liked him, always will. I remember after the 5th grade was over for me and I saw magazines in grocery stores with pictures of his wedding on the covers. His hair was very long, he sported a beard, he sported John Lennon glasses and had a yarmulke on (Jewish wedding, he's Jewish). He looked totally unrecognizable from the 'Fonz' but he probably intended it that way, at least for his Big Day.
And he and his wife have been together ever since. How many Hollywood stars can claim that?
Henry Winkler/Arthur Fonzarelli will always be cool in my book.
