AC/DC founder Malcolm Young dead at 64

I had the honor to watch Malcom perform live with the original lineup of AC/DC from the front stage back in the 70s on their first US tour. He was a great guitarist and it was a great band. One of the best live bands I've ever seen and the audience loved them.

Who made who? Who made you? Did anybody tell you? Well I'm telling you this - every member of a band is important and in AC/DC that rule is also true. His rhythm guitar provided the ELECTRIC momentum for what makes AC/DC the rock'n'roll powerhouse that it is. Even though he wasn't in the full limelight like his brother Agnus he still was essential for making AC/DC what it is. This a sad day for rock'n'roll but it ain't noise pollution, it will survive and it will never die. AC/DC, ranks as Australia's best along with Midnight Oil, INXS, Hoodoo Gurus, Icehouse, Real Life, Men At Work and others hailing from the land Down Under. RIP MALCOLM YOUNG. I'm sure Brian Johnson is a nice bloke. Most Aussies are, I just wish I could understand their English. ; )

I was in high school when Back in Black came out. Broke my right arm roller skating to "You shook me all night long". But the guys voice just tends to wear on you after awhile, like a mosquito stuck in your ear. Anyway, just my opinion. Have never owned a Brian Johnson AC/DC album, but have all of Bon Scott's. "Cuz I'm TNT!"
