Why didn't the media report that Portman has never hired a female director? Why are we hearing this from another actress?
I think we know why.

Strange target for Mcgowen to pick.
I wonder what her true motivations were? Jealousy at the popularity of Portman’s little gesture?
Mcgowen doesn’t seem to want support.

Actors and their completely tone deaf ways of "protesting" something. Yes, this was a bespoke garment so probably hugely expensive and made in the US or Europe, but Dior have an awful record on using sweat shop labour to make their off the peg stuff. Rose is equally ludicrous with her "I'm a real activist" nonsense.

Get your popcorn and snacks the liberals are starting to eat each other gonna be great entertainment.

Of course we know why: actors don't usually hire directors. Instead, casting directors hire actors. I hope this has been enlightening.

Maybe Portman can start the #Notme for all those snubbed or denied recognition or promotion because they were female.
