Actress Ryoko Yonekura reportedly splits from husband of 3 months

Actress Ryoko Yonekura, 39, has separated from her husband of three months, Japanese tabloid media reported Tuesday.

Yonekura married a 37-year-old man who runs his own company last December 26. The couple had met two years earlier through a mutual acquaintance.

Sports Nippon quoted a source close to the couple as saying they had been arguing a lot even before they married. The source said Yonekura had moved back into her own apartment.

However, Yonekura's management denied any rumors of a divorce, saying there was absolutely no basis in fact to the rumor.

Never believe what management says.

Two months longer than I gave it. Happy for all you guys still in Japan -- she's back on the market.

Wow, call me surprised, if this is true quite unexpected from such a charming woman imo. 3 months of fighting after being 2 years together seems a bit weird though.

Charming? Unless she is a friend of yours, we don't know what kind of person she is off-camera. A lot of celebrities put up fronts on camera.

Jerseyboy 3 months - she is clearly a little bit unstable (and not that much of a looker) so think that i will give her a wide berth if our paths cross (??!!:()

The line starts behind me!

The photo isn't very flattering. My guess is that she might be hard work.

She must be freaking trainwreck pain in the ass, but she is hot!!!

@Davie Ikesue: If she gets a divorce, "Dr. X" can be read as "Dr. Batsu". :-)

was it her entertainment or his business! Both had different careers and sounds like expectations!!

@ hayai - How do you know it was her? I've watched the attitudes/behavior of Japanese husbands change dramatically after their marriage. My three stepdaughters (here in Japan) all married guys they "fell in love with". All three of those guys eventually became verbally and physically abusive, and BTW had girls on the side.

@sensei258 Dude 3 months is all they could stand of each other, after they moved in together! I don't know your daughters and are sorry that they had problems with their Husbands.

I saw a like day in the life documentary with that guy from morning bird with her, she is high maintenance to say the least. And consider the fact 40 never been married (I don't count 3 months or playing house for a year) I have friends like this, and at that age very difficult bringing someone into your life after you have done it alone, and quite successfully for that length of time. Marriage is compromise as I'm sure you know.

But I must reiterate HOT!!

I appreciate your sentiment. You're right though, 3 months is way fast.

He must be jealous husband.

I heard a few people suggest Ryoko's more than a bit of a handful. Yes, she's hot, but what's the point of that if she's impossible to live with (a question I have asked myself about different women a few times in the past)?

@frontandcentre

Yep, I have the same problem with the wife. But still she puts up with me.... ; )
