Popular girl group AKB48 made their debut on Fuji TV's popular long-running noon show "Waratte Iitomo" this week. The girls appeared on the segment "Tele-shocking Corner," making it the first time in the show's history that 33 people have participated simultaneously.
Seeing the troupe lined up on stage, host Tamori said in awe, "I haven't seen this many young girls on here in a long time." Tamori took it upon himself to introduce all 33 members, but by the time he was finished, the segment had run out of time.

33! i hope they don't get H1N1. Are they still in school? or just 24-25 and wearing the uniform for all those uniform fetish freaks out there?

maybe tamori has never been to nishikawaguchi/yoshiwara. this is nothing compared to that. and it's a lot more fun too.

I guess "48" refers to maximum weight (in kg) of each member...

The unspeakable in pursuit of the unwatchable. I've had throat infections funnier than Tamori.

I've stopped watching Japanese TV. The more Japanese I learn the more I can notice how retarded Japanese TV programs are.
