Time for JT to raise the bar now. This is scraping the bottom of the barrel stuff. Plenty of talented entertainers in Japan, foreign and domestic who deserve coverage on a site this like. I really don't know what's sadder -- a 'talent' impersonating people with no talent, or the fact that it's a success.

I actually watched that dating show, and you can tell she have deep feelings for that guy. They also did a back ground story on her, and they played old video footage of her Ballroom dancing. She is very good looking girl and dancer outside her AKB48 routine. I wish her all the luck with relationship.

I got tired of her shtick half-way through the first time I saw it...and here she has succeeded making a career out of it and no doubt will soon be a household name. This is why there always that almost invisible but persistent fleeting moment of shame whenever you travel home and tell someone you work in Japan: that acknowledgement since people like her can be on TV every day and get applause, those who have "succeeded" here in Japan will have done just that - "success" in quotation marks.
