The celebrated British author known for “V for Vendetta” and “Watchman”

The author clearly hasn't a clue who Alan Moore is, nor read "Watchmen", I'll wager.

The temperamental British author who chose to distance himself from the Hollywood adaptations of his works “From Hell ”, “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”, “V for Vendetta” and “*Watchmen*”.

- "As long as I could distance myself by not seeing them," he said, he could profit from the films while leaving the original comics untouched, "assured no one would confuse the two. This was probably naïve on my part." -

Seeing his photo as I scrolled down gave me a start. I was relieved to see it wasn’t an obituary.

Is it “Watchman” or Watchmen? And you can’t write about Alan Moore without mentioning ( at least ) The Killing Joke and Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow.

He looks a bit like Robert Plant after a few months on a desert island.

@Joe Blow 11:53am - Those are Your words, not ours. We commented just on Alan Moore’s ‘public’ persona and general disposition. The Brits we know are quite amicable and engaging, once they get to know you. At your next opportunity, by a round. However, it remains doubtful that Alan Moore would join in.

@Joe Blow

Too right it is.

You got a problem with it?
