Amazon Music expands catalog to 100 mil songs for members

Spotify, the die has been cast.

The limited shuffle only version constantly has the Unlimited offer constantly popping up. This happened three times right when my friend was pushing the play button for songs causing my friend to have to contact Amazon three times to cancel the Unlimited payment plan which she wanted no part of.

@Speed: Music shouldn’t be free anyway.

Hopefully this will finally push Spotify to launch their Hi-Fi tier. They are under no more threat than Apple are from any other competition. Both Spotify and Apple are built into to so many systems natively now, their dominance will sadly not be realistically challenged.
