SYCO Entertainment and FremantleMedia on Thursday announced the full tour line-up for the upcoming "America's Got Talent Live" tour which kicks off in York, Pennsylvania, on Sept 29. Headlining the tour will be Season 8 winner Kenichi Ebina who mesmerized America with his unique dance performances that combine illusions, mime, special effects, sound, light and video.

"I still can't believe I won 'America's Got Talent,'" said Ebina. "Being a part of Season 8 at Radio City Music Hall was so much fun, and I can't wait to take my act on the road and perform live for the fans who voted for me from their homes across America."

It's interesting that he has to go West to do this because Japan doesn't have an equivalent show format to identify talent in lieu of talent agency pop factories.

Many Japanese artists are coming here (USA) for a life change opportunity. If they are any good, they find success here.

So the winner of America's got talent is a Japanese and the winner of Miss America contest is of India descent. Maybe US is exceptional.

No, it was about the best person won and in the case of AGT America voted for him. I don't give a crap where you come from. If you got it, you got it!

Kenichi was truly amazing. Good on him! His video game performance was truly mind-blowing.

I actually hadn' t watched the finale yet so I was kinda bummed that my RSS feed of this headline totally spoiled it but I'm glad he took the top honors.

Now if only they'd have more danger acts next year...

Is there a way to watch this show in Japan?

But the winner of Miss America IS American which qualifies her for the win, why even raise this issue?
