Good for them. My children are also obsessed with this anime as well. Not clear as why so many people are obsessed over this anime lately. I do miss Gundam anime.

Sorry but the Movie was slow and boring till the last 15-20mins. The Netflix Kimitsu no yaiba episodes are far far better. However they do not in any way, shape or form compare to Sen to Chihiro. That is simply one of, if not THE greatest (non-cgi)cartoon movie ever.

...whose full title is "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train"

It just rolls right off the tongue, doesn't it?

We watched the entire series season one on Netflix. I can't imagine why the movie is so popular. I can only assume it's a helluva lot better than the series to be garnering such popularity and devotion.

An anime epic in which a teenager hunts down and beheads demons on Monday

What does he do for the rest of the week?

(Sorry. Post-Christmas reading rate slowdown.)

Not clear as why so many people are obsessed over this anime lately.

It seems one of the factor is that it takes place in Taisho era which is not so often used for setting.

I guess a story about purifying demon as a symbol of disaster in the middle of a pandemic also kind of make sens.

My son isn't allowed to watch anime.

I prefer instead that he grow up to have enriching social relationships, and one day even procreate.
