Why did Fauci lie about ‘gain of function’ funding to Chinese labs through Ecohealth Alliance?
God Bless Fauci! The U.S. was lucky to have him!
To some, Fauci is controversial. I don’t hold that opinion. I think he did a great job.
It seems we made it through the worst of it.
We are back in the WHO, so that is a good thing. Hopefully there will be a new “playbook” developed by the current administration with lessons learned from this pandemic.
Why did Fauci lie about ‘gain of function’ funding...?
Fauci never lied about anything. Stay away from fantasist websites and you might form a clearer view of the world.
Of course, he lied, he should be behind bars :
FtGuy: Did you actually watch the video? Yeah, Rand Paul, renowned fruitcake, falsely accuses Fauci, and Fauci strenuously refutes the attempts to smear him (whenever he's allowed to speak for a few seconds uninterrupted), cites the weight of academia on his side. If that's your "evidence", you'll need to do better than that.
Orange chimp should be behind bars. The time is coming.
Let's untangle this.
(1) Did NIH fund research at Wuhan Institute of Virology?
(2) Specifically, did NIH fund research of the potential for bat-specific pathogens in nature to jump to humans?
(3) Did that research cause the COVID outbreak?
(4) Did millions of people die of COVID?
So, specifically, which point here do you disagree with?
1) Yes, NIH awarded a research grant to EcoHealth BUT it did not cover “gain-of-function” research
2) No, not specifically
3) There has been NO link between the research and COVID found
4) Yes, but but most leading scientists agree it had nothing to do with EcoHealth’s research
Hummmmm, so what’s your point?
I think he made the right calls during Covid.
The part he played behind the scenes in trying to hide his involvement in the research is worth another documentary. As is the story he fabricated about the origins of the outbreak.
Everything in China is under the control of the CCP and that includes bio labs which the military controls.
Yes, the Chinese army.
Either Fauci is completely naive or he was attempting to receive the results of extremely dangerous research turning Corona viruses into deadly pathogens?
Make up your own minds as to which
I NOMINATE Dr. Fauci for the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for all his accomplishments .
The Insurrectionists, Proud Boy types and know-nothing far righties think they know more than a man who has top qualifications and has spent the better part of his life at the top advising presidents. Dr. Fauci is an American hero. The last president is an un-American zero.
He's got his tie off, shirt top unbuttoned, how can you not trust such a relatable public figure? So what he pushed a very specific viral origin hypothesis to the tune of $9mil! He did it in the interest of public health! Masks? Why do you keep bringing this up? They don't work until they do then when they work, they work best when you wear two, then the science changes and we all move on. Why can't people just move on? It's not like he advocated closing schools and shuttering the economy. At least he didn't push a bogus vaccine or something. Sheesh!
What lie are you talking about? every source I can see clearly explains the situation without any lie being found, the only ones making that claim are sites where many forms of disinformation can be found, which makes the claim dubious at best.
According to the best available evidence this is extremely unlikely compared with the natural origin that is the one that fit with the available evidence much better. This is not a possibility that has any scientific weight.
None of those things are real, which would make them a terribly poor choice for a documentary.
So your claim is that he is irresponsible for ignoring something that not only has never been proved to happen, it has been proved to contradict the available evidence of the origin of covid? that makes no sense.
If your recommendation is to "make up your mind" by ignoring the actual evidence and giving undue importance to conspiracy theories you lose the argument.
The protesters and other Americans, average everyday Americans can decide for themselves and since Fauci been wrong on so many medical issues, You can like him, I don't and half of the country doesn't like or trust this guy and that is their right as Americans to decide whether they like the guy or not, we can and have the right to have various medical opinions and decide for ourselves and neither the Dems, social media late night liberal TV pundits and his holiness Fauci will stop us or keep us quiet and they can use any slur or insult they want, they are the ones that are Un-American for even questioning our rights to ask.
Statistically roughly half of any given population have an IQ below average.
Unless you have a medical degree from a legit university, your various medical opinions are worth less than nothing.
The US is never divided into halves on any and every issue. Millions of republicans, including Trump, were vaccinated against the covid.
I didn't take the shot, don't wear a mask and I am fine.
And millions of Democrats that were not. Again, it should be left to the person whether they want to get the shot or not, no one should ever be forced to take something they don't want and they shouldn't if that is what their heart tells them.
I never divide the country into halves which you continually quote. Always 71 million.....
Yes, there are people who were vaccinated and those who were not. The majority of the people were vaccinated.
You also live in Japan. You were an outsider during the pandemic.
I never said that vaccination should be compulsory.
Fauci lost all trust and credibility when he lied about of the efficacy of mask wearing during the early months of COVID-19, but at the very least he eventually admitted that he had lied.
Is this the one where a woman tells him she thought the vaccine was supposed to keep her from catching Covid, and he explains that it keeps people from getting sicker than they would without it?
The man couldn’t win against the Internet doctors and epidemiologists.
Any actual source that support this claim? any professional in public health? medical science that says so?
Such as? when has he been in contradiction with the rest of the scientific community? Trust has nothing to do when the decisions are based on the best available scientific evidence at the time. Pretending this has not been the case (up to the point where evidence is asked to prove it) is not an argument, is an excuse to persist believing something false.
What lies are those? following the evidence available at the time is not lying, on the other hand pretending that scientist must have access to time machines so they can recommend things according to evidence that will be obtained in the future is a sure way to identify an irrational claim.
imaginary things that never happened but are endlessly repeated as if they were true is another common irrational argument from antiscientific propaganda.
All vaccines work this way, and the opinion of actual experts and respected figures in science and medicine say exactly the opposite than your claim. "internet doctors and epidemiologist" without names, and more importantly, without evidence did not won anything. He has consistently been on the side of the scientific consensus, that by definition means the whole community is much more likely to agree with him than with people that disagree without proving what they claim.
