Finally a decent movie worth watching, in an ocean of mediocre productions, and failed superhero movies...

Once in a blue moon you can be right. Can't wait to see this.

I'm curious what Germans and other non-French continentals think of Napoleon. On the one hand he was a murderous tyrant, but on the other he ended serfdom wherever he went.

Looking forward to seeing this on the big screen. I really have no time for another marvel movie, any other 3 hour super hero movie. The killing of flower moon was great. These movies remind us that epics will live on but another marvel movie is just like another soap. Theyl’ll be another one next week. And the ramming of certain political correct elements, and is ticking, in some movies is a real turn off too.

Coincidentally, I've been watching some Napoleonic videos on Youtube recently. There's a lot of decent stuff out there if you're interested in the history rather than the production value.

Looking forward to watching this one on the big screen. I suspect it will be a success.

Vive Scott!

Looking forward to this. Even more so, the rumoured four and a half hours director’s cut…..! Monstrous! Anyone know who’s done the soundtrack?

Abel Gance paved the way with his revolutionary triple-screen silent epic, a milestone in the history of cinema which still remains the definitive film version of France's "hero", Napoleon. Ridley Scott's treatment will likely be less reverential.

This will bomb as bad as killers of the flower moon has . Great director and cast but the topic no. There are better films out there on a lesser budget that go under the radar if you look , I like big budget films (superhero films included) but I don’t want to be bored to death watching this

Apple do some good tv shows and films but they won’t even make their money back or a profit on this film or the previous one even with the streaming revenue

You like superhero films but you don't want to be bored by this because it's a historical film based on a historic person? Got something against dramas? How do you know you'll be bored before you even watch it. That really says it all. I'd rather watch this than the Marvels that's for sure. Yes there are lots of lower budget films, certainly those in festivals like Sundance, etc.., that will be interesting. When you like a film, you really don't care if it bombs or not. I liked Killers of the Flower Moon hence don't care if it bombs.

Read what I said superhero films included , did not say they were my main favorites. I like drama, thriller, action, fantasy, sci-fi but horror and romance not so much. I’ve watched many historical and factual films in my time ( enjoyed some and not) but you assume I only like superhero films which I didn’t say . I would assume myself that I’ve watched more films over my lifetime than yourself to make a more accurate assumption miles

Given the subject matter, who made it, who is in it, and its length, I expect it will be more than just worth watching. Just my opinion, and no need to get upset while discussing it. Time will tell how good or bad it is.
