What’s with the religious imagery?

Apple, netflix, disney, hulu etc etc, we end up with too many streaming services making me want to go back to the rent-a-dvd era to rent what I actually WANT to watch.

Once Disney starts streaming their movies, the game will be a lot different.

Netflix is getting pricey in comparison to the competition, Hulu - not worth it, Amazon Prime - could be better and likely will be.

There needs to be better access via VPN services to allow greater access too. Restricted content based on each location is all good but sometimes we just need to access home area content.

It's a 'plus' sign, not a crucifix.

"Great stories can change the world. We feel we can contribute something important to our culture and to our society through great storytelling."

So apple is going to bring back Little House On The Prairie? The best family story telling TV ever made. Or are they going to push more social justice crap down our throats?

Shining down from the skies above?

Right. Google "painting cross in front of sun rays"

Very exciting! The beauty is that it's going to be a worldwide launch so we should get it here in Japan, hopefully the content will be good and also the same across regions.

Even Apple --the very epitome of a device-first company (anything they do serves to sell Apple devices)-- even they are going into device-agnostic services:

Apple Music/TV now works on competitors Amazon Fire and soon Google devices and archenemy Samsung TVs too. Ya can use Alexa, Google Assistant, and of course Siri to access Apple services! Ya don't need Apple devices - it doesn't matter how anymore!

If that doesn't illustrate how the future is going agnostic services, nothing is. Lol

You’re right. Sad thing with these streaming sites, they don’t just keep movies in their catalogues and add more to them, they rotate periodically and that can be annoying to see a great film and then a few months later it’s gone. It’s like their trying to tell you what you can and what you won’t watch.
