I guess it's a Small World after all. I don't like Disney.
I'd like to see a Hollywood with many diverse movie making companies.

And now, The Simpsons is owned by Disney
And to think, at the turn of the century during the dotcom boom, Disney was seen as a prime target for acquisition because of its IP contents for the internet companies. And now, Disney is the one doing the acquiring
Disney's weakness in its challenge against Netflix has been TV programmes - now it's strengthened that (also Disney and Fox each owned 30% of Hulu, so now Disney owns it 60%)
And now Marvel could reunite the X-Men, Wolverine, and The Fantastic Four with The Avengers
Lucasfilm again has the original Star Wars
NCIS Reruns
None of this really matters unless Americans can find a way to make the odious Murdoch shed Fox News and his other toxic media holdings before booting him back to Canberra.

Hopefully some other company will swallow up CNN, and show them how to deliver Real News programming and Investigative Documentaries. Todate, it really does seem that the BBC World Service has simply no competition, something surely needs to be done in order to further the quality ?
