The absence of LGBTQQIIAA2L+ actors needs an explanation.

You know the sexual orientation of every actor mentioned in the article? Impressive.

It’s clearly a deeply personal issue for you to champion, well done.

James Bond died in the last movie. That is all about James Bond thing. Why another Bond? The name should be changed if another 00x is in the new movie.

Reincarnation?

The elephant in the room. I'm hoping for an all-female version.

I can believe that. You seem to enjoy getting outraged over films you have no intention of watching or music you don’t listen to.

I don’t get it but it seems to be fun for some.

British, Caucasian and Straight . Please.

Idris Elba has the presence and cool to do it but I can imagine the racists having meltdowns in basements.

Persuade him to do it. Pay him over the odds .

I agree. Idris would be great and it’s kind of hilarious and pathetic to watch people get their knickers in a twist over a fictional character who lives a fictional life.

Piers Morgan an interesting choice. He could fight wokeism and for spy-stuff he certainly knows a few interesting tricks with mobile phones. Laurence Fox might keep some happy. He has a background in acting and he’s been booted off GB News. He’d probably do it for a fiver.

I just want for James Bond to return to the silliness and playfulness it was before Daniel Craigs version.... Don't want a serious and gritty Bond.

And the gadgets...the gadgets was like 1/3 of the interest in each movie.....

Gritty, serious Bond was a bore.

Roger Moore in the garish ski-suit with the ‘So does England’ line’ still the greatest Bond moment for me. Truly Lol.

Nothing wrong with a bit of panto.

Passive aggressive "panto" line noted

?

Noted where? Why note it? I found Moore’s panto approach to Bond funny. I don’t know why that upsets you.

Personally, I prefer the 21st century Jason Bourne-esque gritty Bond

That’s fine. You are entitled to your taste.

Now what?

Eh? What are you expecting?

Very confusing post. I don’t know what your point is other than liking gritty Bond.

With all the hysteria about woke this and woke that, I think it would be a kick if the next James Bond was a woman and her sidekick, Felix Leiter, was a black man and 'M', then should be Asian. The villain, to placate the absolute fear in those who wring their hands about wokeism, should be a cross-dresser who's sidekick is an American Inidan, a male, of course.

I'm hoping for a black, transgender lesbian in a wheelchair. A wheelchair with lasers.

You know James Bonds was suppose to be purely entretainment... if I wanted to see a hard boiled assasin and his "real world problems"... then I watch something among the lines of the Bourne Identity or something.

I think Wandora only know (sadly) Daniel Craig's James Bond.... sure a lot of people like it, to each their own, but I really didn't like it (a bondle Bond?, that was proposterous!!!).

You take the sillyness of Bond, and you only left with an action film of more of the same.....

Like don't letting John McClane to to be complaining all the way of the movie, or making John Wick just a good assasin but not to the level to killing several men with a pencil.

The same people who got all worked up about black hobbits are now whining a Bond actor who hasn’t been decided yet.

I like fiction, it’s entertaining.

My vote is Mike Myers. He should play the baddie as well.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I will never take this series seriously again until they give it to Warwick Davis.

British, Caucasian and Straight . Please.

Exactly, no need to re-invent the wheel.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

This franchise is getting more pathetic and decadent than ever..

Because it's a crime against white priviledges, right??..

No amount of humiliating the UK would bring it down to the level of your China.

Let's put it this way, if they did a remake of Roots, you be ok with Adam Driver playing the role of Kunte Kinte?
