Attack of the clones as 'Star Wars' fans design own lightsabers

Some of the best conference swag I've gotten was a set of cheapo light sabers with multiple colors and appropriate sounds. They are just as much fun, I promise, provided the lights still work.

I'd drop $40 on a metal one, but not $180, much less $250+. Guess I'm the wrong demographic for this collectable.

Me and my date had a toy lightsaber 'fight' at a Joan Jett concert last year. I gave her mine to give to her son after the show.
