I have the BR version myself, a beautiful crystal clear copy. Looks like BR is taking over the market thus heralding the death of regular dvd in a few more years. Avatar rules.

Oh brother - go see it in 3D in an IMAX cinema - nothing beats this... in 2D is just another SF movie...

If I can't see it in 3D, I don't want to see it at all. I'll wait for the day that I have a 3D TV and a 3D Blu-ray copy of the movie, at least a few years down the road.

I have seen it in IMAX 3D, very amazing, but not bad in BR 1080p DTS 7-channel surround on my 55" plasma either. Why wait when you can enjoy almost as good right now ?

I'd want the 3D at home. Until then, a beautiful BR will do fine.

3D is crap, it's been around since the 1950's and there is a reason why it died. The big TV companies are just trying to push their wares to make money.

With respect to everyone who liked it i still dont understand.
It had such a bad plot and story take away the advanced graphics and..its a disney cartoon...
