Couldn't be more pathetic????...

That seems to be the goal. "Make it lame and 'gray'"

I couldn't finish watching The Mandalorian series because I found it meandering and pointless. I found Grogu to be an annoying and tiresome character, so I really don't know why he's so popular. He's definitely no Yoda.

It is disney way, the money way.

The film will be directed by . . . who created the hit Disney+ streaming show "The Mandalorian"

Hit? Last season (season 3) gathered an anemic 51% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. I guess it was enough for Dplus not to cancel the series, but a clear stretch of the word ‘hit’ to be sure.

I can't even sit through season 3; season 1 was something new and it seemed to be setting the series up for something big, but that never materialized. S2 was uneven, though I didn't mind the Luke parts, in fact it was probably a highlight.

I think Jon Favreau was behind season 1 which was pretty good mainly because it builds up both characters well, focuses on their growing relationship, and of course Grogu is cute. I started season 2 but gave up after a while and haven't bothered with season 3.

Usually TV series are made into movies at their peak of popularity but leave it to Disney and Kathleen Kennedy to make a movie when it's on a downslide in another cash grab. Watch just the production budget balloon to +$150mil and leave them scrambling to break even.

Yeah, I found the first 2 seasons to be quite enjoyable, but the third season was an absolute snooze-fest, the quality just dropped off a cliff all of a sudden.

I think part of the problem is that there are way too many Mandalorians in season 3 and its really noticable just how boring they are as characters when you've got so many of them talking together in monotonous, humorless tones.

The Ahsoka series was also pretty awful. Andor is really the only Star Wars related series that I'd be interested in watching more of at this point.
