The show must go on?

Another shining example of a great pretender and know-it-all narcissist who will never admit they were wrong and worsens the situation for everyone in their attempt to deflect circumstances they are responsible for creating.

- “I feel that someone is responsible for what happened... But I know it's not me," -

And those around continue to enable their over-blown ego and air of entitlement.

- "…entitled to immediate indemnification..." -

Why doesn’t he plea accidental manslaughter and do his two years?

Just an animal.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt when I assumed he was devastated.

Now I hope this psychopath sees jail time.

How does stopping the work help anyone? It certainly won't bring back the dead or pay the mortgage and education for her child.

When something tragic happens, stop, see what the cause was, fix what caused the issue(s), then pick up and finish the work. The dead are already dead.

The fault is 90% on the armorer, not anyone else, except, perhaps the team that hired her. If she wasn't certified and didn't have the correct firearm safety attitude to prevent the accident, then the people who hired her messed up, as are each individual who applied pressure on the armorer to violate safety standards.

The armorer should never work in that role again. If negligence is found, then the legal system should handle the penalties.

Did you read the article?

“He did so both with the intent of honoring Halyna's legacy by completing her last work and of compensating Hutchins and his son from the film's profits.”

What about the man who pulled the trigger? No fault?

What about the man who pulled the trigger? No fault?

Yes that's why they have an armorer, that responsibility should never be on the actor for various reasons.

SURE, $$$ FIRST.

If Baldwin was a decent human he would abandon the movie in respect for his colleague he accidentally murdered !

Yeah, I read the article. Did you?

Actor Alec Baldwin wanted to finish filming "Rust" in the weeks after the fatal on-set shooting of a cinematographer, new legal documents showed Friday.

What kind of psychopath wants to finish a film almost immediately after killing a woman with 2 children?

What kind of psychopath wants to finish a film almost immediately after killing a woman with 2 children?

A practical person, not a psychopath, who knows that the crew, actors, back office, insurance, and completion contract will soon expire and be off working on other projects. Once that happens, it is nearly impossible to get back together with the overall plan for the work in their minds still.

People don't throw away $20M so easily. I bet all the executive producers wanted the film finished. It was their money.

Someone with the intent of honoring Halyna's legacy by completing her last work and of compensating Hutchins and his son from the film's profits.

There, now you’ve read it twice.

Also, 2 children? Where did that come from? Article says ‘son’ clearly. One.

Not to worry *@Kyowaheiwadayone 1:35pm: ***Your stance on this was abundantly clear from the start**. - It’s others here who have flip-flopped since the story first broke Oct 22, 2021 and originally insinuate it sounded like ‘a murderous who-dunnit’.

Recently, their just hold onto that Baldwin hasn’t been charged, found guilty or at fault of anything. As others retorted, I would also add: “Yet.

Now, if only Baldwin would also flip-flop and admit to some liability for the death and injuries. Perhaps those initially wrong will back-pedal once again the civil judgements/settlements are made (and possibly, verdicts, are in)?

To Be Continued…

Baldwin will never admit any liability. Smart lawyers will have told him it would be disastrous and it will. He wasn't the armorer. On a TV or movie set, the armorer has the responsibility for locking up and providing firearms with blank rounds to the actors.

When it comes to guns and ammunition on sets, Tristano said, “the buck always stops” with the armorer, the licensed professional — sometimes credited as a “weapons master” — tasked with making sure movie firearms are safe and secure on set.

Period.
