Director Takeshi Kitano this week completed filming of his latest action movie, "Outrage." The film will star Kitano as himself in the role of Beat Takeshi, together with Tomokazu Miura, Kippei Shiina, Ryo Kase and many other well-known actors.
This will be Kitano's first action movie since his 2003 film "Zatoichi," and the first time Miura, Shiina and other members of the all-star cast have joined a Kitano production. The director praised their performance, saying, "The acting skills of professionals at this level is really amazing."
"This is a really feel-good movie," explained Shiina. "It's like having an expert masseuse give you a really long foot massage." The film will be released in theaters June 12.© Japan Today
