There's an old McDonalds out in the country and the building has those same arches seen in this trailer. I was shocked coming across it many years ago. It even predates the buildings I went to as a kid 40 years ago. Must be from the 50s or 60s.

These days, macdonalds Japan doesn't have a clue at what they're doing. No surprise revenue is declining. Everything is piled up in the center so you have to take a French fry and spread it around. Never enough mustard. Many times I have to go back and ask for more onions on the quarter pounder. I always have to ask them to cook me a fresh fish filet otherwise they give you a soft microwave one. My secret is to ask for no seasoning then they have to cook you a fresh burger. And why does their Coke taste like crap?

There are no other choices for US fast food where I'm at. A Wendy's or a Burger King would be great.

The first McDonald's in Japan opened in 1971 in Ginza.

Fizz: There is on in Florida too near Palm city. It even has vintage coke machines and juke boxes.

"The first McDonald's in Japan opened in 1971 in Ginza."

Probably the one I saw in1978 located on the first floor of Ginza Mitsubishi with the service counter on the street.

Perfect example of USA self-aggrandizement and lies

If you want healthy food, eat a salad. Just don't break your neck falling off your high horse. Yes Mac is "junk food". It's also a fantastic nutritional value for the money. No, I don't think the offerings are delicious, but going hungry would be worse.

“Keaton is good at that oily charm,”

Keaton's Kroc: "Contracts are like hearts - they're made to be broken."

I just want this evil empire out of my life!

Fast food victims are worse than the fast food itself. Take control of your lives, people!

Interesting man, controversial, and at times despicable. Ain't that America:

"The definition of salesmanship is the gentle art of letting the customer have it your way."

"If any of my competitors were drowning, I'd stick a hose in their mouth and turn on the water."

"I believe in God, family, and McDonald's. And in the office, that order is reversed."

@Fizz

I share your pain, bro.

Speak for yourself, not everyone hates Miki-D's and if it has wrecked so many lives, who's fault is that? How about blaming the people that have to have 3 big macs in one setting. Everything in portions. Are there better places to get a better burger, sure, but there is something iconic about Miki-D's and taking an occasional trip is not going to hurt you. People need to stop blaming the restaurants and try to take responsibility for their own actions, if you eat Miki-D's everyday or ANY burgers for that matter, you're going to pay for it down the road. But I do have to admit Miki-D's Japan is probably the worst and for the life of me, I don't know why?
