Whatever ya think about the Superman vs. Batman movie, Affleck did a good Batman surprisingly, especially when he was first announced the role.

Is anybody else getting sick of superhero movies yet?
nath
Who cares?
Kansaicoon
@mistie Yes! I think there has been way too many!

Nobody is sick of Superhero movies yet, because they are still making billions. Plus they release only 4 to 6 per year, compared to the other 100 films you have the opportunity to enjoy. They still make dramas, comedies, SciFi, Horror, and Action.

Yes, actually anyone with a serious interest in the art of cinema is seriously sick of this vapid genre of computer graphic popcorn. Hollywood is choking on this regurgitated vomit, perhaps not profit-wise but certainly in terms of its lack of artistic integrity which is why many viewers are forgoing the cinemas to watch higher-quality entertainment being produced by streaming services. Hollywood peaked in the 1950's and has been in terminal decline ever since. Thanks for the memories.

The 80's were great.

@all the people commenting here that they are tired of superhero movies Just stop watching those... Nobody is putting a gun to your heads to watch these. Furthermore, people who don't watch these don't have any right to comment on superhero movies since you haven't experienced that particular movie!!! Stop whining !!!

With the reviews being so bad about the Batman vs Superman movie, why on Earth would Affleck subject himself to more punishment. He ain't no Christian Bale, that's for sure. Some things are better left untouched.

I thought Affleck was a pretty good batman, or at least, he was a good Bruce Wayne. I'm generally not a fan of his overall, but he was good in Batman vs. Superman. I've liked the movies he's directed as well.

mmmm.. Honestly the Batman on Superman v Batman was only an angry guy... sort of Punisher with a nice house.... I really didn't like Afflecks Batman, but I think that is more a problem of script and director...
Regarding a new Batman movie, directed by Affleck.. I have no problem with that. I only hope they stop retelling the Batman origin again...enough... we all know why Bruce Wayne decided to be the Bat

This is just Hollywood running out of ideas. They'll be trying to milk any possible superhero combination they can get from both the DC and Marvel universes, including reboots and reworks. Frankly, it's getting tiring. Something more original, please.

Hope DC does Lobo staring The Rock rated R

This next Batman movie had better not pit Batman against another good guy again. How about pitting him against the Riddler again, played by Jim Carrey?

Ben Affleck should do quite well... IMO.
Far too many (as usual) are jumping the gun & prejudging. The vast majority of moviegoers enjoyed how Affleck portrayed Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman versus Superman, so they should try to hold onto that & hope Affleck continues this portrayal.
Far too many (again?) jumped the gun on Batman versus Superman based on idiotic & negatively biased reviews & blogs & message board commentaries.
Ridiculous! Think & decide for yourself based on the trailers that they show. Sure... It's a gamble, but that's how we've always decided as far back as I can remember. That's a part of what made going to the movies fun. Sure, there were times when some movies were a disappointment, but more often than not you were entertained. That's why we keep going back.
Stay away from idiots that are trying to negatively influence you. Make your own decisions. Have fun.

The movie plots are based on what happened in the comic books

@genjuro
Totally agree but it will need a massive stroke of luck for it to happen as long as the beancounters of the world that control the media groups continue to deny originality and the risk that it inevitably brings. Hollywood became creatively bankrupt a long time ago.
