$24M after 10 weeks out is a big hit?

Pathetic...

The last Bollywood movie worth watching came out 10 years ago, was an original and did not have an overpaid actor like Aamir Khan.
This could irk Indian right-wing critics who have already called for a boycott of the film because of comments made by Khan in 2015 that were deemed to be unpatriotic.
But I still want the movie to succeed if only to give a finger to these right wing Hindutva brigade for whom Khan has been a favourite target given that he is outspoken, successful and Muslim.

Still less pathetic than the Chinese propaganda movies filled with references to the glorious Communists.

Maybe Bollywood should check out Vin_Trash on Instagram.
They’ll show you how it’s SUPPOSED to be done.

Too many Khans in Bollywood. They own the place.
This sounds like it might be a fun movie if done right.
$24m is a pretty good showing in a country where Bollywood movies cost almost nothing to watch. And are pretty cheap to make.

Kulkarni would only say that his script was a "beautiful story...
How is a re-make a.k.a copied script a beautiful story, nothing original comes out of the so called Bollywood these days, sun is anyway setting on this gangster controlled industry, In it's next iteration hopefully we get to watch some authentic original stuff.

More rubbish from Indian actors who vilify India, say they are safer in other countries then make multi million dollar movies and hope profit from the very country they say threatens them.
A religious and racial war is in progress. People are not fooled by these celebrities anymore.
Fighto!
Well they'd be right. Have you been to India? They'd be far safer in every developed nation - the trade off being a much higher cost of living.

It's one thing to have a remake/remodel in another language or culture. Just don't give Hollywood any ideas to remake 'Forrest Gump' or even make a sequel.
