If the truth be known all humans owe Rats, Rabbits, Dogs, Monkey etc, etc, etc, a debt of gratitude, as practically every food product, medicine, cosmetic, kitchen products etc, etc, etc, has been injected into these poor sentient beings eye balls, ears, mouths, skin and every other part of their precious pain feeling bodies just so that the products are safe for human consumption. Respect where respect is due.

Question....Who is paying for this kind of research ? After all those years of study .....this is what they come up with !!!! One shakes ones head in total disbelief. The mind boggles.

It’s thousands of research projects like this that, even though they seem meaningless and ridiculous, give clues to the evolution of cognitive development. Such as why humans find certain music attractive, why humans are capable of abstract thought and art, etc.

Sheep, dogs, cats,…many animal’s respond to music.

But if the rats could comprehend Gaga’s lyrics, they would have stopped their body movements in disgust.

very interesting research, that produces a lot of information that in the future could become very useful, not only because of the demonstrated effects of some kinds of music in the tested rats, but also because of how the demonstrated the much more sensitive motion sensors used could change the conclusions reached when compared with just using video evidence. This could mean that previous research involving possible faint movement could be redone using these sensors and give very different results.
