He’s a performer. It’s his job.

BOY GEORGE: If you told me 10 years ago, 20 years ago, that I could actually change the way I think about things, I would have laughed at you. I would of gone, “Yeah, no, I’m definitely stubborn and opinionated.” And, you know, it’s quite nice to discover you’re wrong.

Good on Boy George and collaborating with Teddy Riley on a New Jack Swing jam was bold and I applaud him for that.

He did a good stint as DJ when I was in Uni in the Toon, NE of England. Glad to see he is still doing stuff.

@wallace - and that is relevant how?

Because it is where BG lived for many years but now plans to live in the US.

BG was a neighbor and part of the local scene around Hampstead and Camden.

He’s had a very good career. Can’t say I was a fan but Karma Chameleon is a superb pop song.

I definitely was a fan back in the day rhythmically one of the better groups of that decade, and gave me a lot of inspiration as a musician, not just that, but fashion as well, glad that he’s still around doing music. Most definitely gave a lot to the contribution of music. Kudos.

Indeed. What ever floats your boat.

Yes, very good songs, or at least what I regard as very good songs, float my boat.

Pretty obvious I thought.

Just to expand on that for the sake of clarity, less good songs don’t tend to float my boat as much.

Cheers.

Yes, very good songs

If you say so.

I didn’t name those songs. You don’t know what the songs I posted about are.

Just off the top of my head - Suspicious Minds, Don’t be Cruel and Jailhouse Rock to name 3.

I’d say quite a few would say so. Not you?

You like Eye of the Tiger?

The Rocky thing? Not bad. A bit cheesy but I suppose it fits the film.

Yes..okay.

I have the compilation 'First 5 Years' Culture Club CD, and the songs are as good now as ever. And there's some other stuff from that period that I never want to hear ever again.

But Culture Club made some good music, much of it inspired by reggae. You can hardly go wrong with reggae.
