Stay at the bar for the first 15 minutes, then get to your seat, the rest of the movie is superbly done. Well done.

I liked the movie so much I plan to watch it again this weekend.

Bullet Train looks (heavily inspired in) like an homage to the pinky violence/girls with guns/martial arts/action movies from Japan and Hong Kong that came out in the 70,s, 80,s and 90,s. I’m in. :)

Some people were comparing it to a Guy Ritchie movie but I thought it was more Quentin Tarantino. I recommend watching it. I am rewatching it to catch the details I missed the first time. It's based on the novel by Kōtarō Isaka.

Leitch's Atomic Blonde made some waves for its one-shot action sequences. It was a good action film.

Bullet Train was a disappointment. It's eye candy, looks and feels like a Guy Ritchie movie. You're always going to have some similarities to other films but this is too derivative. It wouldn't to hurt use more on-location scenes rather than loud sets and CGI.

Maruko desu “ Some people were comparing it to a Guy Ritchie movie but I thought it was more Quentin Tarantino. I recommend watching it. I am rewatching it to catch the details I missed the first time. It's based on the novel by Kōtarō Isaka. “

Well, I saw some headlines calling it “a meeting between Guy Ritchie and Kill Bill”, so… :)

thank you for your recommendation; If it can match the same level of entertainment and excitement of John Wick’s trilogy or Gunpowder Milkshake (two of my favorites and my recommendations to you), then I’ll be happy. :)

well that was a little harsh… and disrespectful to someone who co-directed John Wick and directed Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2. … people make comparisons all the time, which is natural, but saying that “it looks and feels” like something else / copy/paste… … it doesn’t feel ok and it’s rude.

So, this was filmed in Japan, while the rest of us have been BANNED from coming in for 2years + ?
