We've lost some greats in the last two months! :(

I loved the Two Ronnies as a youngster, but was always perplexed why the fun would stop for a song by Barbara Dickson every episode.

Just re-watched 'The Worm That Turned' with the great Diana Dors. Definitely one of my favourite mini-series from the Two Ronnies. Great memories of watching the show - the last thing I usually did before bedtime and the dreaded Monday back at school.
Once saw Ronnie Corbett in a Chinese restaurant. Yes, he was small!

It's the glorious warmth Ronnie Corbett personality brought to my parents generation that will be missed, that smile brings a genuine sense of caring and compassion.

The swear box sketch is a classic. If you haven't seen it, it's well worth a look.
"Dozy old #####!"
Superb.

Sheesh we've lost some greats these last two years. One of my favourite skits is the Blackberry.
RIP Ronnie

RIP Ronnie. I had the pleasure of talking to him once through my work. A lovely, naturally funny man. And I was starstruck as I was a big fan of the Two Ronnies.

Sad to hear this news. I'll have to watch the Two Ronnies to cheer up.

Comedy genius.
I am a bit surprised to see the news on Japan Today!

Four candles was one of the funniest sketches of all time and this morning I saw the Mastermind sketch for the first time. If you haven't seen it I'd suggest watching it on YouTube.
Genius. Simply genius.
RIP Ronnie. Thanks for all the laughs.

And it's good night from him.

It's easy to imagine the line:
"Then this very nice lady from Japan asked me if I was Scottish, and I said, 'I don't think so, my dear. I'm from Edinburgh.'"
Sorry to go on. He visited my school in Edinburgh in 1967. The first famous person I'd seen close up. I still have this vision of him stepping out of his car and looking at all us gawky kids staring at him. He looked half our size, but had twice our stature.
I think so. Sitting on a cloud, telling stories to the angels.

Class sketch is one of my favori...I mean, favourites.

Both Ronnies gone. High jinx up in heaven tonight.
RIP, and Thanks for all the laughs.
Never realised he was Scottish.

He's made me laugh for 50 years. Some of his best lines here:
