Nice to see Canadian Bryan Adams still kicking around. His Summer of ‘69 is still a North American classic.

Then again, this is not the Pirelli Tire Calendars most boys were mesmerized by when dad had to take the car in to the shop for a tire change & lube job.

- “The calendar is dubbed “On the Road,’’ referring both to Pirelli’s heritage as a tiremaker about to celebrate 150 years…” -

One of the popular Radio hit singers of the 90s throughout Asia, nearly one hit wonder though.

Um...

Adams has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him the best-selling Canadian male artist ever, and one of the best-selling music artists of all-time.[2][3][4] Adams was the most played artist on Canadian radio in the 2010s[5] and has had 25 Top 15 singles in Canada, and a dozen or more in each of the US, UK, and Australia.

Yeah, a one-hit wonder, right?

@Strangerland

I think i said 'nearly' but ask any fans of his, it will be 'Summer of 69'.

You did. I showed how you were wrong:

Yeah, a one-hit wonder, right?

'Anything I Do' hit #1 in several countries and it's maybe the biggest seller ever in the UK (or in 1991 it was). 'all For Love', 'Have You made Love to a Woman', 'Heaven' (from an awful movie, don't waste your time watching it), all hit number one. 'Can't stop this Thing We Started' hit number two, so many more. Hardly a one hit wonder in any country. And he did tour East Asia in the late 90s, incl. Vietnam.

He is truly the most successful male Canadian artist ever, bigger and better than Paul Anka and Justin Bieber. The most successful female artists from Canada are Angry Alanis, Shania and Celine the Wounded Feline and they all suck. As for the most successful Canadian band there is the one and only RUSH.
