Back in my day (Street Fighter 1), you had 2 characters to chose from - Ryu or Ken - and your maneuvers were forward, back, jump, duck, kick or punch.

And kids these days will never know the struggle of blowing dust out of the cartridge just trying to get it work!

Diablo 4 for me now. I could never get into these fighters when I was younger at the arcade. Too many button and joystick combos to remember. My partner used to play Streetfighter, I used to play Qbert or pinball

most fighting game players ARE the old schoolers who grew up mashing buttons in the arcade. It’s a genre that is deemed “too hard” by most modern gamers weirdly

It's still not as good as ST or 3S though. Plus, the woke stuff on there is a turn off.

The game could do without some of the explicit nudity we are seeing nowadays. It's kind of like the Fast and Furious franchise. At first, it was about the cars, the racing, and the characters. Now, SF6 and Fast and Furious seem to be about over-the-top gags and clickbait. SF II and III were the best because they focused on skill and character balance. If you know the frame rates, you know the cheats.
